All products are shipped from Kowloon, Hong Kong using Speedpost, e-Express or registered Letter/Packet service by Hong Kong Post Office. You may track and trace the order via www.hongkongpost.hk/eng/tracking/index.htm or your local post office website.
Items within Hong Kong, China, Macua and Taiwan are shipped using local couriers such as SF Express.
Please note we have secured a special rate with Hong Kong post office and it is never our intention to profit from shipping expenses.
We are unable to offer standard Post Office airmail (without tracking) or sea freight rates since it is very difficult to Track and Trace, which is an important feature for both us and you.
Tax (Custom Duties, VAT, Import Tax etc)
The shipping charges you pay to Cafelatstore only cover shipping cost and DO NOT include custom fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. Your order may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country.
Cafelatstore or Just Java Ltd is not responsible for estimating and collecting any custom fees, taxes, duties etc. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
If payment of additional fees is refused at the time of delivery, the shipment will be returned to us. At that point, we can refund your purchase price, not including shipping costs and additional return shipping charges.
When do you ship?
All active products on our website are in stock, we do not drop ship. If it’s in the website and you can order it, it is in stock.
We will endeavour to ship items out every Tuesday and Friday. Hong Kong time is 8 hours ahead of GMT.
How long does shipping take?
Following the guidlines from Speedpost international shipping may take 3-7 days. E-express and registered Letter/Packet may take 7-60 days base on your location. Once the shipment is handed over to Hong Kong post office, we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the shipment caused by random customs checks, transport strikes, natural disasters or any other factor that is out of our control. Hong Kong Post Office will hand packages to your local postal system when it arrives in your country.
On rare occasions, your order may be delayed due to the customs process. If your order takes more than three weeks to arrive from the moment you receive your shipment notification and tracking number, check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package.
After shipping we will provide you with the tracking number for your item by email.
Please note that only EMS Speedpost and SF Express shipping options are able to give you up to date real time tracking information. The lower cost registered packet and E-express only provides basic details such as when it was posted and when it has arrived in a country. If you want to check the status everyday then you should choose the EMS or SF Express option. We are unable to get any more information about registered air shipments other than that on the Hong Kong Post Office website.
